Move slides

You can easily organize a presentation by dragging slides to different locations. In normal view, you move slides vertically in the navigation pane. In slide sorter view, you can see more slides at the same time, which is useful when you want to organize large presentations.

Do any of the following:

Move a slide in normal view

1. On the View menu, click Normal.

2. In the top of the navigation pane, click the Slides  tab, and then click a slide.

   Note  Depending on the width of the navigation pane, you will either see the and  named tabs or the Slides  and Outline  icon tabs.

3. Drag a slide to a new location.

Move a slide in slide sorter view

1. On the View menu, click Slide Sorter.

   

2. Drag a slide to a new location.
